Service, Quotation and Booking Terms

What a booking means, how quotations work and which conditions can affect the repair scope.

Reviewed 4 August 2026. This page states the current website policy and avoids claims that have not been verified by business records.

What a booking confirms

A booking confirms a request for attendance or assessment. It does not confirm that the appliance has been diagnosed, that a specific part is required, that the repair will be completed during the first visit or that a quoted arrival window cannot be affected by traffic, access or an earlier job.

Information required

Customers should provide the service address, suburb, contact number, appliance type, brand, model number where available and a precise description of the fault. Useful descriptions identify the operating stage, such as stops after filling, trips when heating begins, drains but will not spin or fridge section warm while freezer remains cold.

Access and utilities

The appliance must be reasonably accessible and connected to safe electricity, water, drainage or ventilation as applicable. Integrated appliances, stacked units, locked plant rooms, estate security, parking restrictions and concealed connections should be disclosed when booking.

Diagnosis and quotation

A quotation should be based on the condition found during assessment. A remote estimate cannot account for hidden damage, incorrect earlier repairs, corroded fasteners, inaccessible parts or multiple simultaneous faults. If the scope changes after dismantling or testing, additional work should not continue without customer approval.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Customers should notify us as early as possible when access is no longer available or the appointment must change. Any cancellation fee, call-out fee or special-order commitment must be disclosed before it is applied. The website does not invent a universal fee where the business has not supplied one.

Customer responsibilities

Do not continue operating an appliance that trips electrical protection, leaks onto wiring, produces smoke or a burning smell, overheats, exposes moving parts or creates a food-safety risk. Isolate it safely where possible and explain the condition when booking.
